don't! don’t you try me.
I said don’t
I’m not believing it
oh yeah, don't, don’t you try me.
cause I’m, I’m, I’m, I’m, not believing (leavin’, leavin’, leavin’) it
you open your mouth I just want to scream
you're tripping me up like a dream
and there you go strutting ‘round like you’re the cream
of the crop
but you’re not
so how bout you just don't,
don’t you try me
I said don’t
I’m not believing it
yeah, don’t. Don’t you try me
cause I’m, I’m, I’m, I’m not believing (leavin’ leavin’ leavin’) it
you think you’re pretty, pretty boi?
you think you’re lovely, lovely soul?
you think you’re sadder, sadder than me?
I’m not believin’
I’m not believin’ (leavin’ leavin’ leavin’) it
pretty boi, pretty boi, pretty boi
(wahooooo, booo hoooo, booo hoo)
don’t you try me.
I said don’t, don’t, don’t I’m not believing it
yeah, don’t. don’t you try me.
cause I’m, I’m, I’m, I’m not believing (leavin’ leavin’ leavin’) it
aren’t you worried you’ll break through the screen?
is that your mirror turning green?
and yes, we know, your rage likes to be seen
but it’s fine, I got time
so just, just, just, just
don’t. don’t you try me.
I said don’t don’t don’t don’t.
I’m not believing it.
don’t. don’t you try me.
I said don’t cause I’m, I’m, I’m,
I’m not believing (leavin’ leavin’ leavin’) it

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
